Description

The Fringe Tree is a shrub or small tree that can grow up to heights of 10 m with unique white flowers that emit a rich scent and have thread-like lobes. It is native to the southeastern United States, and is extensively planted in gardens. The dried roots and bark were used by Native Americans to treat skin inflammations. The crushed bark was used in treatment of sores and wounds. This tree is also known as Old Man’s Beard. (Source: Wikipedia )
