Description
Amabilis Fir is also known as Pacific Silver Fir and is native to the subalpine forests of British Columbia, the state of Washington and can be found as far south as northern California. This slow-growing tree can reach heights of 40 m in ideal growing conditions and habitat. Its lumber is typically used for construction framing, subfloors, and plywood. Occasionally grown for Christmas tree production, its needles give off an odor of oranges when crushed.
